Our Pink Princess

Wow girls are fun. I just can't get enough pink! I am so grateful to have this little girl in our family. She balances our little family out and I can't imagine our lives without her. ;)

Labor Day '09

What a great weekend. We built Zaley's playhouse, had a camping adventure on the back deck and went golfing. Why can't all weekends be 3 days?!

Tai's First Day of KG!

Here is Taidyn on his first day of Kindergarten!

Mrs. Riser asked them to bring a poster on their first day, "It's All About Taidyn". The poster highlights a few things: Tai likes his family, friends, pizza, his tiger, his dinosaur and the color blue. He wants to be a Golf Pro when he grows up so he can golf all day and teach people how to drive golf carts. His favorite book is Superman.

They were also asked to bring a "paper doll" that looked just like them. His guy has a sketched face from his photo and an outfit just like Jo Jonas complete with DC shoes and a scarf. Funny ;)

Trey's First Day of 1st Grade!

I cannot believe it. It seems like yesterday that Treysen was my little 6 lbs 13 oz baby, born on Friday the 13th of September. Even though Friday the 13th is unlucky for some, it was the best day I had ever had and this little boy has brought us nothing but joy. Treysen is so smart, imaginative, creative and loving. I don't know what I'd do without his constant hugs. I hope he has an amazing day at school today!

Missing Grandpa Today

My Grandpa Lloyd was selfless, friendly, loving and strong. He was both my Grandpa and my daddy. He was my world and he is a huge part of who I am today. 15 years ago today he passed away. That was the hardest day of my life. Many times growing up I would think "Would Grandpa be proud of me?" His example helped me make the right choices because I couldn't stand to ever let him down. I hope he is still proud of me.

I love you Grandpa and I miss you more than words can explain. Thanks for watching over us until we meet again.

Our First Camping Trip

This weekend we went camping at Yellow Pine with the McKenna's and the Bird's. There were 10 kids, all 6 and under! The boys put a lot of miles on their bikes, loved fishing, and of course roasting marshmallows. Good times!

Innocent?

Our little Zaley was the easiest baby, but she is quickly becoming very independent and stubborn. Climbing drawers, playing in toilets, dumping everything in the pantry...this little girl is going to give me a run for my money. She just looks so innocent!

4th of July Trip

For the 4th of July, we took the kids to "Stadium of Fire" in Provo. We were lucky enough to get front row tickets! Taidyn's heros, The Jonas Brothers, performed. It was a great show! We also took the kids to the aquarium. Zaley loved watching the sharks. As soon as we got home, Treysen had dad working on the playset in the backyard (which we hope will be all assembled by tonight)! GOOD TIMES!

Happy 4th of July!

This morning we went to the Neola parade for the 4th of July. Airplanes flew right over us, and the kids loved getting TONS OF CANDY! Now we're off to Provo to the Stadium of Fire to watch the Jonas Brothers. We are SO excited! Happy 4th of July everyone!

Zaley Is Walking...Finally!

Last night Zaley started walking! By the time I grabbed the camera she was tired, so she wasn't going to let go of that baba! I'm so glad that Mom and Dad both got to witness her first time walking more than just a few steps! That's our girl!!!

Gotta Love Summer!

Craig and I returned from our 10-year anniversary trip this weekend. A big THANK YOU to my mom and sister for watching our kids while we were away! You guys are the best.

10 Years, And Still Going Strong!

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary on June 25th. We went to Midway and Park City for 4 days, just the two of us! It was an AMAZING get-away. Here is a picture of us at the Olympic Park getting ready to do our first zip-line!

Happy Father's Day Dad!

This Father's Day, I want to tell my husband how grateful I am to have such a wonderful husband and dad to our kids. Our kids adore their dad and it is so special to see the connection that they have. The boys love to do anything with dad - play outside, golf, wrestle, play video games or board games, ride in the backhoe... The boys always tell me that someday they will be as big as dad and as strong as dad. Zaley LOVES her "dada". In fact, it's hard to get her to say anything else because she loves "dada" so much! It reminds me of the bond that I had with my Grandpa Lloyd and I can't explain what that means to me. Babe, I love you. Thank you for bringing so much joy and love into our home. Happy Father's Day!

Trey & Tai are on the same t-ball team this year again, which is fun. They also have Maddux, Quade and Reese (3 of their cousins) on their team, so it's lots of fun!

We went to Johnny & Shawni's last month and the boys had a great time. They love playing with Quade's little tractor!

We love watching Grandpa Cocky participate in the Memorial Day program. Treysen even got to hold Grandpa's gun, which he thought was very cool.
